<hr/><h3>Job Summary:</h3>Copper Queen Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Level 3 Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team on a PRN day or night shifts basis. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for experienced nurses looking to provide high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis.<hr/><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established hospital and nursing policies.</li><li>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients in the Med/Surg unit.</li><li>Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.</li><li>Document patient care and progress accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).</li><li>Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, quality care.</li><li>Provide patient and family education and support.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment.</li></ul><hr/><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Current and valid RN license in the state of Arizona (or compact license).</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.</li><li>BLS certification (required).</li><li>ACLS certification (preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).</li><li>Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>
