We're hiring an experienced problem solver to service light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles for clients throughout Murfreesboro, TN.Pay: Depending on experience, you can make $25.00 - $45.00/hour. YOUR ROLE:As our Night Fleet Service Mechanic, you'll be fixing up our customers' vehicles and trucks and getting them back in excellent running condition. You'll work the night shift, completing high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. Every vehicle you work on will present new challenges and new learning opportunities, giving you the chance to expand your mechanical skills while making a positive difference for our customers!In order to do this, you'll need the following:<ul><li style="background:white">2+ years of fleet mechanic experience with a shop</li><li style="background:white">Ability to work the night shift, 3pm - 11pm</li><li style="background:white">Experience servicing light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles</li><li style="background:white">Specialized training in and experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions, and other major mechanical components</li><li style="background:white">Completion of OEM training courses</li><li style="background:white">608/609 MVAC certifications preferred, but not required</li><li style="background:white">Ability to perform DOT inspections</li><li style="background:white">Ability to provide your tools</li><li style="background:white">Knowledge of general vehicle repairs and preventative maintenance</li><li style="background:white">Valid driver's license</li><li style="background:white">High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul> OUR COMPANYSpecializing in medium- and heavy-duty fleet and trailer repair, Volunteer Fleet Services is on a mission to keep clients' vehicles moving so they can keep their businesses going.
