Purpose and Scope: Installs, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs fire and security alarms, access control systems, and associated equipment such as control panels, smoke/heat detectors, door contacts, motion sensors, card readers, temperature alert sensors, and glass break detectors. Essential Responsibilities: Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, design and layout systems, create databases, install cabling, mount and wire controls and peripherals.
