Ensuring compliance with regulations and that firm policies are followed Conducting site inspections, proposal creation, and client meetings Mentoring junior staff, offering technical guidance, and supervising their work Developing project design criteria, alignments, grading plans, utility and drainage plans, construction plans, construction specifications, and cost estimates Writing of technical reports Site grading and drainage Utility coordination Utility design (water, sewer, etc.) Paving and grading Erosion control and stormwater management Green Infrastructure and Geotechnical considerations Completing Hydrologic and Hydraulic analysis of drainage systems and design of stormwater management Delivering site design projects from initiation through final design. In addition, during employment individuals may be required by CDM Smith or a CDM Smith client to successfully complete additional background checks, including motor vehicle record as well as drug testing.
