The Division of Nephrology includes a large outpatient clinical service with specialty clinics in hypertension, voiding disorders/enuresis, genetics, dialysis/transplantation, and bone/mineral disorders; a nationally and internationally recognized end-stage kidney disease program providing home peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis and one of the nations few home hemodialysis programs for children; an active acute kidney replacement therapy program and a kidney transplant program that has the 2nd best hazard ratio (e.g. The current faculty in the Division of Nephrology include 13 board certified nephrologists, 2 dietitians, 2 social workers, a dedicated psychologist, 5 transplant coordinators, 5 nurse practitioners, 3 research nurses, a child life specialist, and nursing personnel in clinic and dialysis with 100% effort dedicated to Nephrology.
