Responsibilities include but are not limited to resource allocation, quality improvement, patient safety, over-sight of on-call personnel, financial management, appropriation of equipment, patient and family advocacy, emergency management, and administrative supervision. Keeps the Vice President of Patient Care Services, Directors and Managers informed to the needs of the clinicians, problems that may arise, and all emergency situations.
