The ER Paramedic will also be responsible for assisting nurses and medical staff with appropriate skills within their scopes of practice (procedures, tray set ups, IV insertions, lab draws, approved medication administration, EKGs, splinting, ADLs, obtaining VS/ height and weight, etc). The purpose of this position is to assist and support nursing and medical staff in performing patient care, environmental tasks, stock supplies, and check equipment to ensure patient-focused, cost-effective, and operational departments.
