Perform PICC and Midline catheter insertions utilizing ultrasound guidance Assess patients and recommend appropriate vascular access devices Assist with difficult peripheral IV insertions throughout the hospital Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and discontinue vascular access devices as needed Educate and support nursing staff on vascular access best practices Collaborate with physicians, radiology, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care What qualifications you will need: Current Florida License as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) Associate in Nursing required Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association Current PICC Line Certification Certification in vascular access (e.g., VA-BC) - Preferred Must have PICC RN experience with Midlines Two years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse to include I.V. therapy Preferred HCA Florida Westside Hospital is a 250-bed medical center and healthcare complex.
