Expectations include, but are not limited to, being a positive role model for individuals supported, employees, co-workers, and management, complying with company policies and procedures, treating employees and individuals supported with dignity and respect, including honest and respectful communication, supporting and contributing to a harmonious working environment, and maintaining good working relationships with co-workers, management, parents, case managers, other providers, and any state or government representatives. Support individuals supported in maintaining good personal hygiene, which may include, but not limited to, ensuring individuals maintain good oral hygiene, ensuring individuals who are incontinent are changed immediately using proper peri-care, observing for rashes, monitoring bowel movements and recording on individuals’ flow charts, bathing or showering individuals according to individual protocols and, when necessary, observing for signs of skin breakdown.
