Responsibilities:
Position Summary:The Hospital Dietitian is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing medical nutrition therapy to patients of all ages and diagnoses in accordance with evidence-based guidelines. The dietitian collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal nutrition care is integrated into the overall treatment plan.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience</li><li>Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an ACEND-accredited program.</li><li>Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of your assignment</li><li>Certification in specialized areas (e.g., CNSC, CDE) preferred but not required.</li><li>Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.</li><li>Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.</li></ul>Additional Qualifications/Skills:<ul><li>Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and patient education abilities.</li><li>Proficient in electronic health records and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities.</li></ul><div>Certificates, Licensures, Registrations Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a registered dietitian in the state of employment required.
