Our program utilizes TeamBirth , a patient-centered care model that promotes collaboration and shared decision-making among physicians, nurses, and patients. The OB/GYN Hospitalist team primarily manages OB/GYN residency and unassigned patients and serves as a key clinical resource for staff across the unit. This role includes: <ul><li> Inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist coverage </li><li> GYN emergency care for residency and unassigned patients through the emergency department </li><li> Inpatient GYN consultations </li><li> Active involvement in resident and medical student education </li></ul> Physicians who enjoy teaching and mentoring will find this role especially rewarding, with meaningful opportunities to support OB/GYN residents and medical students in a collegial academic setting.
