As the second-largest employer in Addison County, we take great pride in our Mission, To improve the health of our community, one person at a time.Role Overview:<ul><li>Provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic care to patients of all ages.</li><li>Closely collaborate with certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioner</li><li>OB/GYN call pool is 1:4. Call is primarily back up to certified nurse midwives who takes first call.</li><li>Outreach outpatient GYN clinic in Ticonderoga, NY approximately once per month.</li></ul>Who We Seek:<ul><li>Medical Degree</li><li>Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or board eligible.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong and respectful relationships across the health network.</li><li>Great emphasis on teamwork and collegiality with a all members of the care team.</li></ul>Position Details:<ul><li>0.75 Clinical FTE at Porter Medical Center</li><li>0.25 FTE at UVMMC </li><li>3 days a week with mix of seeing patients in outpatient practice and OR time.  1:4 call rotation.</li></ul>Why Join Us:<ul><li>Join our amazing team of 3 OB/GYN physicians, 1 OB Family Medicine physician, 4 Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioner.</li><li>Employed position with a full UVMHN benefit package.</li><li>Located 35 miles south of UVM Medical Center with efficient EMS protocols for rapid patient transfer.</li><li>Behavioral health imbedded in outpatient practice.</li></ul>Porter Medical Center is located adjacent to the Middlebury College campus, offering a diversity of cultural and recreational activities.
