The Occupational Therapist provides Occupational Therapy Services to patients and clients within the regulations and scope of practice as determined by the Occupational Therapy Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California. For inpatient OT a valid California Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record (as defined by Casa Colinas Automobile Insurance Carriers requirements), and have the ability to pass a DMV screening is preferred.
They will work with a diverse caseload of patients, assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote improved functional abilities and independence. Job Responsibilities: Conduct developmental assessments, provide physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon). Join our team of dedicated professionals who make a daily difference in the lives of young children by providing home-based Early Intervention services.
Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, recertification documentation, per Occupational Therapy Board State Practice Act and governmental and third party payer requirements. Recommend and facilitate the ordering of necessary durable medical equipment for patients to facilitate independence in mobility; i.e., braces, walkers, canes, elevated toilet seats and grab bars.
