The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. This role involves directing our company's financial goals, objectives, and budgets, managing the company's liquidity, and driving its financial performance. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and will report directly to the CEO. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities across the organization. 2. Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met, overseeing the company's transaction processing systems. 3. Supervise employees who work under the CFO in the finance department, including the finance team's hiring, training, and performance evaluations. 4. Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks. 5. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including banks, auditors, and third-party vendors. 6. Implement and manage all financial controls and processes for the business. 7. Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, overseeing the preparation of all financial reports. 8. Advise on long-term business and financial planning, reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures. 9. Ensure the company's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth. 10. Oversee job costing and WIP accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and management of the company's projects. 11. Manage company assets and ensure proper cash flow for operational efficiency. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred. 2. Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus. 3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance role in the construction industry. 4. Proven experience in financial planning, risk management, and corporate finance. 5. Exceptional knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. 6. Proficiency in Excel and experience with other financial management software. 7. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive and manage financial performance. 8. Solid understanding of WIP accounting, job costing, and financials related to the construction industry. 9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business. 10. High level of commercial acumen and a track record of leading and developing a high-performing finance function. 11.
