What You'll Do:The ideal candidate will have a strong familiarity with heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and general operation of both.<ul><li>Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and trucks</li><li>Checking fuel, fluids, and systems</li><li>Adding, maintaining, and replacing filters daily</li><li>Tracking and recording service, status of equipment, trucks, and operating hours</li></ul>What You'll Need<ul><li>Capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in various positions around equipment</li><li>Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)</li><li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods</li><li>Tools required for the job: 3/8" to 1" and 1/2" sockets and wrenches</li><li>Ability to perform greasing operations</li><li>Minimum of (3) years practical experience with commercial trucks and heavy equipment</li><li>Valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License and clean driving record</li><li>Valid DOT Medical Card</li><li>Endorsements for Hazardous Materials and Tanker (CDL with</li><li>Hazmat endorsement)</li><li>Submit to pre-employment drug and background screenings</li><li>Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul>Compensation & Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Vacation Pay and OSL</li><li>Medical/Dental/Vision and Life Insurance</li><li>FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts)</li><li>401(k) (company match up to 4%)</li></ul>Equal Opportunity Statement: As an equal opportunity employer Kerr Contractors will hire without consideration to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, or disability.
