You MUST possess a current United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credentials (MMC) with a wiper/ oiler endorsement AND a current Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC); and possess a Qualified Member of the Engine Department (QMED) with valid Electricians Endorsement) or be able to obtain one within 24 months of entrance on duty.
