Responsibilities include managing multiple commercial mechanical construction projects from award through closeout, overseeing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client communication, coordinating closely with field teams, fabrication operations, vendors, and general contractors, reviewing project progress, identifying risks, and implementing proactive solutions to maintain schedules and profitability, driving successful execution of HVAC and mechanical scopes including ductwork, equipment installation, controls, and light piping systems, leading project forecasting, cost tracking, change orders, invoicing, and financial reporting, building and maintaining strong client relationships to support repeat business opportunities, supporting preconstruction activities, value engineering efforts, scheduling, and project planning, collaborating directly with company ownership on operational improvements and strategic growth initiatives, and contributing to the development and mentoring of junior project management staff. Requirements to apply include experience managing commercial mechanical or HVAC construction projects, proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration, experience working with general contractors and coordinating field operations, knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, mechanical equipment installation, and related construction processes, excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with ownership and project teams, desire to grow into senior leadership and help drive business expansion, experience managing annual project volumes exceeding $5M is preferred but not required, and local to, or willing to commute to, the Sterling, VA office full-time.
