This person also interfaces with the customer, other disciplines, and equipment suppliers. Duties and Responsibilities:· Coordinate and confer with other disciplines during project execution to implement procedures, resolve design issues, and provide technical information· Perform and supervise electrical engineering design activities on projects within the scope of the project schedule and the projected man-hours· Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and reports· Provide project update reports to Project Engineering and Project Management, as needed· Provide estimated costs for engineering and equipment for proposed projects· Specify and recommend equipment that must be used on each project· Assist in the procurement process for equipment and other items on each project within the scope of the project standards, specifications, and budget· Ensure that the electrical engineering work on each project is completed in a cost-effective and timely manner· Assist as needed in new business development and have a general understanding of contractual requirements· Provide technical customer service as required· Keep current in applicable design codes and standards· Lead in the teaching and training effort of entry level engineers and less experienced engineers· All other related duties as required and assigned Position Requirements:15+ years of experience 5= years of supervision experience BSEE Degree · Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally as assigned· Must be able to work the standard office hours in a work week and work as necessary to complete projects within project schedule· Must have physical ability to enter and maneuver in a jobsite environment Knowledge, Skills, Credentials:· Must have good communication skills, both oral and written, and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and proper spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar· Must have knowledge of design techniques, tools, software, and principles involved in interpretation and production of technical specifications, drawings, and models· Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as the technical ability to operate Engineering Design Software, as needed· Should have at least 10 years related experience in the Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC) industry· Should be a Licensed Professional Engineer or be eligible for licensure in at least one State and be able to obtain licenses in other States as required· Should be a member of a technical society in an area of engineering related to the discipline in which a license is held· Must hold at least a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university

Peraton provides management and technical support for NASA’s scientific balloon program which supports enabling science missions for NASA and universities across the United States and foreign scientific communities. Scientific balloon missions provide researchers inexpensive, relatively quick, long duration access to near space altitudes and environments. Balloon missions cost orders of magnitude less than satellite missions and provide platforms for heavy experiments (some greater than 7000-lbs) to operate for weeks and even months. Balloon missions have provided significant science theories and discoveries about cosmic rays, gamma ray and x-ray astronomy, optical and UV astronomy, atmospheric sciences, and cosmic microwave background studies. Our staff are located at the Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility (CSBF) in Palestine, TX where we design, analyze, build and assemble the support hardware and balloon gondola payloads for the missions. We launch the balloons from locations within the United States (Texas, New Mexico, and Hawaii) and around the world including Antarctica, Sweden, New Zealand, and Australia. Our engineers and technician staff support the launches and balloon and payload recoveries in the US and many worldwide locations. Peraton’s NASA Balloon Operations Contract (NBOC) program is seeking a candidate to support test, integration, and field operations for NASA Balloon missions. Our rural campus offers the ability to work in a low-cost of living area, but within an easy drive of Tyler, Dallas and Houston.     Responsibilities for the position:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Support the NASA Scientific Balloon Program in the use of networking equipment on balloons.  Help design and document the networks, including means for access control and systems topology.</li><li>Support electrical circuits, assemblies, and devices for a variety of applications including balloon flight hardware, ground support hardware, test equipment, and/or facility modifications</li><li>Perform complex integration and testing of networking and electronic systems including simulating mission configurations in a flatsat environment.</li><li>Plan the manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus</li><li>Work directly with engineers in other disciplines in system development and integration</li><li>Act as internal consultant providing technical guidance on complex projects</li><li>Design, fabricate, test, verify, and integrate electrical and supporting network systems</li><li>Assess technical specifications and issue procurement requests; attend meetings, write and deliver reports and presentations to clients and managers</li><li>Prepare design documentation including technical text, illustrations, tables, and schematics</li><li>Draw plans and specifications for projects using computer assisted engineering and design software</li><li>Estimate material, construction, and labor costs with project timescales</li><li>Test installations / systems; analyze data.  Ensure all applicable electrical / construction safety regulations are followed/met.</li></ul>Must be able to travel, up to 60% travel in a calendar year

Target Salary Range:
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Position Overview::
The Senior CAPA Engineer is responsible for strategic leadership, execution, and continuous improvement of the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system. This role ensures compliance with FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and internal quality system requirements. The Senior CAPA Engineer leads complex investigations, mentors quality personnel, and drives systemic improvements across products, processes, and quality systems to ensure sustained compliance and product safety.  

What you will do::
