Develops or assures development of hospital-wide policies and maintains necessary records and controls consistent with local, state, and national guidelines for pharmaceutical services such as those defined by: the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), State of Florida Board of Pharmacy (BOP), Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), and other regulatory agencies. The Pharmacy Manager, Infusion Services provides leadership for all clinical, operational, and financial affairs of the Jackson Health System (JHS) Infusion Services Department intended to provide for exceptional quality of care and the fulfillment of the organizational mission.
