To assist with the development and maintenance of public access facilities such as informational signs, kiosks, check stations, roads, parking areas, beaches, lawns, picnic areas, campsites, restrooms, bike paths, trails, fences, gates, water control structures, fishways, dams, and equipment storage facilities. To perform general maintenance tasks at facilities and properties owned by or under the control of the Department of Environmental Management, including but not limited to mowing lawns, raking, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, moving furniture, brush cutting, planting shrubs, transplanting, cutting, and pruning.
