The Maintenance Operator is accountable to ensure safe and productive maintenance, repairs, and operation of the plant and must possess aptitude for multiple disciplines within the heavy industrial surface mining and mineral processing operation involving crushing, washing, screening, drying, mill, and chemical processes. Employee work areas include a surface sand mine, indoor control rooms, laboratories, non-air-conditioned mechanical shops and processing buildings, cabs of mobile equipment, elevated platforms, offices, and outdoor areas during all weather conditions.
