Operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines, including CNC infeed/thrufeed centerless grinding machines, CNC surface grinding machines, CNC wire grinding machines and maintain awareness of close tolerance parts, including pointed parts using various types of measuring equipment including vision systems. Perform own part inspection during grinding process to measure work piece to check to match specs, using measuring instruments such as microscope, optical comparator, micrometer, caliper, dial indicators and gauges.
