JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately maintain scrap produced (weigh and tag when taken from production areas)Demonstrate the ability to operate machinery at maximum output while achieving top quality productMust complete all paperwork with accuracy and in a timely mannerPerform basic visual and physical quality inspection for finishing productPerform basic troubleshooting for quality and machine shutdownPerform job changing based on work instruction (printing plate, size, quantity etc.)Move finished goods, gaylords, operation supplies to and from storage and production areas by hand or using manual electric pallet trucksMaintain a clean and neat work area in the production area, scrap areas, finishing goods storage areas, and box areaPerform daily housekeeping tasks to remove trash, dirt, scrap, and plastic pellets from the production floorEmpty trash dumpsters and designated broken pallet areas dailyMust ensure that General Manufacturing policies are being followedKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacturingKnowledge of proper operation of all machineryAbide by all Inteplast IBS safety policies and proceduresAny others duties or responsibilities as determined by Plant Manager that would fall within the normal job requirements. JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS: Basic mathematical skills required: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to accurately count and record all types of materials - finished goods, operation supplies, roll stock, and scrapGood written and verbal skillsMust be able to read and write in EnglishMust be able to operate machinery and pass a safety test.
