Performs minor repairs and maintenance of buildings; heating, cooling, painting, electrical, plumbing, and rough carpentry; Applies fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides; Cuts Grass in Village Parks, medians, and right of ways; Plants trees, shrubs, flowers and performs related landscape duties; Operates chainsaw to remove trees and brush; prunes trees and shrubs; Performs repairs to road surfaces and right of ways. Has a working knowledge of traffic signals and streetlight maintenance and repair or the ability to learn; Operates heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and skid loaders; Performs crack filling duties, operates power tools, and jack hammer; Fills out work sheets, and maintains maintenance records utilizing a computer; Rough grades and lutes asphalt to finish grade.
