Assists with the construction, repair, and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, driveways, drainage systems, culverts, utility and sewer lines, stormwater systems, water mains, erosion control measures, parks, ball fields, medians, rights-of-way, and other public facilities. Duties: Under general supervision, the Equipment Operator I operates a variety of heavy equipment and commercial vehicles in support of the construction, maintenance, repair, and improvement of City streets, drainage systems, rights-of-way, parks, utility infrastructure, and other public facilities.
