Essential Behaviors and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Responsible for hands on maintenance, repair, calibration, and validation of new and existing test equipment - Responds to production line test equipment issues affecting output, yield, or end product quality - Identifies and provides enhancements to test equipment to support existing or new manufacturing operations - Under minimum supervision, will initiate or implement changes to existing test equipment to support improvements in cost, methods, quality, or to address material support/obsolescence issues. The Principal Test Engineering Technician assists Test Engineers in the development of complex printed circuit board in-circuit test fixtures, as well as box and PC-based functional test equipment for electro-mechanical, hydro-pneumatic, optical sub-assemblies and systems.
