Experience must include: Synthesize small organic molecules for IVD products; Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and act as a subject matter expert and provide technical input as needed on established chemical synthesis and purification processes; Knowledge of organic chemistry and chemical reaction scale-up; Following established SOPs, worksheets and general knowledge of GMP guidelines; Analytical techniques and equipment such as UV, NMR, HPLC and LCMS; Adherence to Personal Protective Devices and equipment policies; Handling various chemicals and performing chemical reactions in large scale (5-22L flasks and 5-50 L reactors); and Work in partnership with the process development group, quality, analytical personnel, and project management to ensure smooth transition of new products and processes to production. Prepare and review technical documents include manufacturing batch records, analytical methods, raw material specifications, SOPs, validation protocols and reports, investigation reports, change controls, qualification of starting materials and vendors.
