If so, Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is the place for you!We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can grow and develop your skills while making a positive impact on patient's oral health.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Must be able to work in a pediatric, child-friendly environment</li><li>Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement</li><li>Verify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standards</li><li>Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardian</li><li>Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns</li><li>Charting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental procedures</li><li>Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible</li><li>Maintaining accurate clinical notes of each visit</li><li>Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer</li><li>Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state</li></ul>
