Project requires timely and accurate data entry and or processing. Analysts will identify, researches and escalates financial issues.</p><p>This role requires candidates to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment. Must successfully demonstrate initiative, reliability, attention to detail, customer service, and discretion.</p><ul><li>Ensure invoices are paid on time (& resolve any issues), enter credits, and maintain vendor data.</li><li>Support Accounts Payable team with administrative duties including vendor on boarding, data analysis/data input, charge codes etc</li><li>Distribute invoices, statements, and other communications to responsible parties.</li><li>Send invoices with clear chain of approval through approval process.</li><li>Communicate clearly and professionally.</li><li>Assist in resolving issues if an invoice is rejected.</li><li>Work with the end user and vendor if there are discrepancies.</li><li>Other special projects and duties as assigned.</li></ul><div></div><div>First 3 Months will be on site- Hybrid schedule after </div></div><div></div><div></div>

Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire Senior Accounting Specialist's in Woburn, MA. The Senior Accounting Specialist supports the outsourced accounting & financial advisory team providing GL, bookkeeping, and advisory support for various clients. This is a hybrid role and will be in the Woburn, MA office 3 days/week.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li> Assist with AR and AP functions</li><li> Reconcile bank accounts</li><li> Prepare journal entries and cash disbursements</li><li> Analyze and summarize information for financial reports</li><li> Perform payroll processing and 1099 preparation</li><li> Assist clients with accounting functions</li><li> Communicate client issues to management</li><li> Perform special projects as assigned</li><li> Participate in special accounting projects assigned to support firm's initiatives and client requests</li></ul><br/><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred</li><li> 3-10 years of bookkeeping/outsourced accounting experience</li><li> Small company experience</li><li> Experience with QuickBooks is preferred</li></ul><br/><div><p>
 The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
