Lund seeks an <strong>Overnight Residential Counselor</strong> to provide essential parenting and life skills support in our therapeutic living community. As part of a team of Residential Counselors, this role guides residents in their daily routines, helping them develop life skills, socialization techniques, and personal responsibility while maintaining a structured and supportive environment.<br/><br/>Residential Counselors, are positive role models, offering mentorship and encouragement while implementing individualized treatment plans. They monitor resident progress, provide crisis intervention, and help create a safe, nurturing space where residents can thrive. This role will include setting clear and consistent boundaries, supervising daily schedules, assisting with household responsibilities, and supporting personal hygiene and self-care routines. Additionally, they collaborate with the treatment team to report on progress and challenges, ensuring each resident receives the care they need.<br/><br/>Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px">Teach and supervise meal preparation</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Explain daily routine, schedules, and activities to new residents</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Transport residents when necessary</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Provide on-site respite care to infants and young children in the program as necessary</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Complete nightly room checks and maintain adherence to safe sleep policy</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Administer medications, breathalyzers and urinalysis once trained to do so</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Complete daily and monthly documentation as required</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Report to Shift Supervisor and Associate Director when incidents/discussions appear harmful, dangerous, or inappropriate and need further exploration and action</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Assist with floor coverage and planning as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels</li></ul>The pay rate is $24/hour. The shift differential for this overnight position is $2.50/hour.
