Overview:
Overnight Superintendent We are seeking an Overnight Superintendent to support our fixture installation team for an active Target remodel project in Shreveport, LA. This role is responsible for overseeing overnight field execution, coordinating crews, maintaining project standards, and helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, fixture installation experience, and the ability to keep overnight operations running smoothly in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise overnight fixture installation activities on site </li><li>Lead and direct field crews to ensure work is completed safely and according to plan </li><li>Monitor daily progress and help keep the project on schedule </li><li>Coordinate with project leadership, store personnel, and team members as needed </li><li>Identify and resolve field issues quickly and professionally </li><li>Ensure quality standards are met throughout the install process </li><li>Support compliance with safety expectations and company procedures </li><li>Track completion of work and communicate nightly updates to leadership </li><li>Help maintain organization of materials, tools, and work areas </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in fixture installation, retail remodels, resets, or construction supervision preferred </li><li>Experience leading crews in a superintendent, foreman, team lead, or similar role preferred </li><li>Ability to work overnight shifts Sunday through Thursday </li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to read and follow project plans, scope, and direction </li><li>Comfortable working in an active retail remodel environment </li><li>Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities during overnight operations </li></ul>What We’re Looking For<ul><li>A hands-on leader who can keep crews focused and productive </li><li>Someone who takes ownership of execution and field conditions </li><li>A professional who can communicate clearly and represent the team well on site </li><li>A candidate who values safety, urgency, and quality </li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>$23 to $26 per hour depending on experience </li></ul>Project Timeline<ul><li>This is an overnight project-based role running from now through turnover in September</li></ul> SPAR Marketing Force works with national retail stores managing their new store set ups or full store remodels SPAR provides Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. Assists in building customer sales, providing superior customer service, stocking shelves, bagging groceries, carrying out orders for customers, and maintaining store conditions up to NuNuâ€s standards.  Dependable, punctual, good work habits, detail oriented, and a high energy level.  Must maintain a clean and presentable appearance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Greets all customers with a smile and a pleasant attitude.</li><li>Maintains product quality.</li><li>Understands and complies with all safety and sanitation guidelines of NuNuâ€s.</li><li>Responsible for keeping grocery, dairy, and frozen shelves stocked, properly rotated, and fronted.</li><li>Brings customer orders to cars.</li><li>Properly bags grocery orders.</li><li>Keeps retail store area and warehouse area clean and safe.</li><li>Knowledge of items in store and able to answer customer inquiries or direct them to the proper department supervisor or store manager or assistant manager</li><li>Performs a high level of customer service at all time.</li><li>Communicates with customers in a professional manner.</li><li>Performs all other duties as needed and required. </li></ul>   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <ul><li>Must have excellent communication skills, polite, and friendly.</li><li>Able to comply with NuNuâ€s sanitation and safety standards.</li><li>Able to lift and carry a minimum of 70 lbs.</li><li>Able to properly unload, store, and rotate merchandise.</li><li>Able to properly bag groceries and bring to customersâ€ cars.</li><li>Able to work in temperatures below 30 degrees for long periods of time.</li><li>Able to sweep and mop.</li><li>Able to use repetitive motion with hands and arms.</li><li>Able to operate pallet jack and cardboard baler.</li><li>Skill in reading and math.</li><li>Ability to understand and comply with NuNuâ€s policies and procedures.</li><li>Ability to multi task and follow instructions.</li><li>Customer service skills required.</li><li>Ability to work well with different personalities.</li><li>Ability to work under stressful situations.</li><li>Able to bend, stoop, and climb ladders.</li><li>Able to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Able to work various shifts including weekends. </li></ul>
