Some duties include conducting environmental audits, providing training on environmental-related topics, evaluating project and maintenance activities, obtaining and maintaining operating permits, interacting with regulatory agencies and participating in emergency preparedness. As a member of the L&S ESS&PQ team, the Environmental Specialist works with a team of environmental compliance experts around the country to provide technical guidance on regulatory programs including air, water, and waste.
