Key Responsibilities & Functions:Performing water distribution system hydraulic evaluations utilizing a variety of commercial hydraulic modeling software programs (e.g., InfoWater, Aquanuity)Analyzing water use, population, water quality, and facilities condition dataEvaluating water supply availability and reliabilityPreparing technical reports and master plansServing as task manager to support senior-level engineers and training other staff engineersInteracting directly with clients and providing excellent client serviceAssisting with marketing activities and proposal development when neededMaintaining accurate records of time spent on each taskRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental EngineeringExperience with water system planning and hydraulic modeling5-12 years' experience of applied knowledge in water system planning projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with GIS, hydraulic modeling software (e.g., InfoWater, Aquanuity), CADPE licensure in the State of California. Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Civil/Environmental EngineeringProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAbility to process accurate engineering calculations unaided and prepare reportsProven ability to summarize technical information using appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling for concise reader-friendliness and clarityMaintaining professional competency may require attending education classes and seminars, reading professional publications, and attending professional society meetingsThis position may require out-of-office travel with occasional evening and overnight assignmentsTravel Requirements:This position may require travel to other offices and/or client offices.
