Your Impact at Lowe's As a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You'll unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and make sure your area is prepped for daily success. This role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting practices and attention to detail. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, working mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight depending on store needs. You may also assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts are physically active, and scheduling may include morning, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects </li><li>Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets </li><li>Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping </li><li>Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed </li><li>Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks </li></ul>Additional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include:<ul><li>Use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders </li><li>Load delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices </li><li>Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues </li><li>Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction </li><li>Execute Delivery Readiness best practices </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>3 months Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment </li><li>6 months Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking </li></ul> Lowe's commitment to growth and teamwork extends to the community as well. Travel Requirements This role does not require regular travel, but occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training sessions, or to support nearby stores. Working Conditions Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. For DSPs the rate for overtime is $15.00. DSPs are given 3 hours of unworked overtime pay for perfect attendance each week after they have worked 42 hours. This makes the DSP rate of pay for worked hours $11.31 per hour. After the successful completion of 90 days, the base rate of pay will increase to $11.00, overtime rate pf $16.50 and the rate of pay for hours worked is now $12.40.This position is for a Direct Support Professional (Nights) Hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7pm - 7am and Wednesday 7pm-1am. Duties include, but not limited to: Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of development/intellectual disabilities. Will assist these persons within the following areas: job supports, self-care, recreational activities and community inclusion. Depending on need of client a DSP may be expected to transport to appointments, report to work assignment with client as a job advocate or could be assisting with feeding and hygiene. Duties will be discussed with employer.
