Slate is a commercial cleaning company specializing in tech-enabled, quality-controlled janitorial services for business clients nationwide, including premium boutique fitness studios. We are seeking a reliable Overnight Studio Cleaner & Lead to join a two-person team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization across multiple studio locations in Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh. This role is essential to ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for studio clients, with responsibilities spanning both cleaning and leadership duties. The overnight route operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, starting at 11:00 PM, covering three locations per shift. Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Deep clean boutique fitness studio spaces, including equipment, reformers, floors, mirrors, restrooms, lobby, and retail areas</li><li>Take before and after photos at each location to document cleaning quality</li><li>Follow a detailed bilingual cleaning checklist to ensure consistency and thoroughness</li><li>Clock in and out at each stop using a mobile app</li><li>Lead duties: inventory cleaning supplies, place restocking orders, manage cleaner attendance, and coordinate same-night replacement coverage when needed</li></ul>Requirements<h3>Required Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Consistent availability for overnight shifts starting at 11:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday</li><li>Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods during overnight cleaning shifts</li><li>Authorized to work in the United States</li><li>Age 18 or older</li><li>Reliable personal vehicle to drive between Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh locations</li><li>Proficiency in using a smartphone and mobile app for clocking in/out and taking photos</li><li>Ability to use provided cleaning supplies and equipment safely and as directed</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Prior commercial or janitorial cleaning experience</li><li>Prior lead, supervisory, or logistics experience (for the lead role)</li><li>Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay: $17/hr for the cleaner role and $19/hr for the lead role</li><li>Performance bonuses for high ratings, streak milestones, and solo coverage (potential bonus earnings up to $1,040/month)</li><li>Flexible part-time schedule (overnight shifts, 12 hours/week)</li><li>Opportunity to work independently and develop leadership skills</li><li>All cleaning supplies and equipment provided</li><li>Supportive team environment with tech-enabled processes</li></ul>

This role involves the servicing, repair, and reconfiguration of fire sprinkler systems for both existing construction and retrofit projects, ensuring adherence to NFPA standards and budget constraints.
