This role works closely with warehouse, quality, and operations teams to maintain product integrity, food safety, and efficient workflow processes. Perform visual inspections on incoming and outgoing fruit products for quality, freshness, damage, defects, and overall condition.

<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong><br/>The Fruit Inspector is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and evaluating incoming, in-process, and outgoing fruit products to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout warehouse operations. This role works closely with warehouse, quality, and operations teams to maintain product integrity, food safety, and efficient workflow processes. Candidates with stable warehouse experience and a strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform visual inspections on incoming and outgoing fruit products for quality, freshness, damage, defects, and overall condition</li><li>Monitor product quality and identify issues related to ripeness, appearance, packaging, or shelf life</li><li>Document inspection findings and communicate quality concerns to supervisors and operations teams</li><li>Verify product counts, labels, and shipment accuracy</li><li>Support inventory control and assist with stock rotation practices (FIFO)</li><li>Follow all warehouse safety procedures, GMP, sanitation, and food safety guidelines</li><li>Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of products as needed</li><li>Maintain clean and organized work areas within warehouse standards</li><li>Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain productivity and quality expectations</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, inventory, or quality inspection experience preferred</li><li>Stable work history with demonstrated warehouse longevity preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product quality concerns</li><li>Experience with inventory systems, scanners, tablets, or basic computer systems is a plus</li><li>Ability to accurately complete documentation and records</li><li><strong>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods</strong></li><li>Comfortable working in refrigerated environments and fast-paced warehouse settings</li><li>Flexible schedule availability including overtime and weekends if needed</li></ul>

You'll also experience exciting opportunities for professional and personal growth and recognition<br/><br/></div><div><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></div><div>Includes but not limited to the following:</div><ul><li>Fill, package and process stock packing slips from regular print jobs (first thing every morning).</li><li>Process inbound and outbound UPS, Fed Ex and misc. carrier packages.</li><li>Review backorder fill from all receipts.  Process outbound packages or stage material accordingly.</li><li>Packaging and staging of work orders.</li><li>Put away all stock, including assigning bin locations.</li><li>General housekeeping in shipping and receiving area as well as inventory areas.</li><li>Misc. small parts assembly as needed.</li><li>Prepare deliveries for our truck and by salesmen.</li><li>Call customers to pick up will call packages.</li><li>Provide assistance to techs and salesmen as needed.</li><li>Inventory Management.</li><li>Back up all other warehouse responsibilities.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></div><ul><li>Strong time management skills.</li><li>Able to properly lift 50lbs.</li><li>Able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.</li><li>Strong sense of urgency.</li><li>Good computer skills.</li><li>Good mechanical aptitude.</li><li>The ability to work productively with other associates, customer and vendors; a “team attitude”.</li><li>A commitment to the concept of “doing it right the first time".</li><li>Able to operate a forklift.</li></ul><div><br/>The Rotating Equipment Group is currently comprised of 17 companies spread throughout the United States and still growing!
