Medgene Labs has a single mission: To be a world-class Immunological Services Provider™ for leading livestock producers and their veterinarians.POSITION SUMMARYMedgene Labs seeks a Warehouse Technician who holds responsibility for overseeing the warehouse and ensuring it is well organized and kept clean and orderly. This individual manages incoming and outgoing products and various other items that are housed in the warehouse. This position is responsible for tracking the inventory of the warehouse and logging incoming freight and handling damaged freight appropriately. This position will report to the Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor.JOB DUTIES Responsible for shipping sales orders on time as requested by our customers, and entering information into our ERP system. General warehouse operations include counting of inventory, organizing shelves, and general cleaning of space.<ul><li>Loading and unloading trucks; inspecting for damage and reporting damage as necessary</li><li>Picking orders as needed</li><li>Wrapping and packing products appropriately </li><li>Labeling, shipping, and receiving products as needed.</li><li>Performing daily inspections and audits</li><li>Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the work area.</li><li>Operating equipment in a safe manner </li><li>Maintaining a safe, compliant work area</li><li>Completing daily documentation as required </li><li>Maintaining responsibility for quality control; not sending out damaged products and not accepting damaged products in</li><li>Packaging finished product for shipping.</li><li>Staging finished product for loading</li><li>Other duties assigned.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of general shipping and inventory processes desirable</li><li>Basic understanding of OSHA safety regulations</li><li>Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.</li><li>Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and keen attention to detail.</li><li>Experience with the Microsoft Office suite desired</li><li>Experience with ERP/MRP system desired<ul><li>GP Dynamics a plus</li></ul></li><li>Experience with 3rd party shipping system desired</li><li>The ability to lift a minimum of 30-55 pounds is required.</li></ul>Compensation: Pay based on experience and education.
