This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of medications and supplies from vendors. The ideal candidate has a strong focus on accuracy, is organized, and can work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Receive and verify all incoming medication shipments (prescription drugs, OTCs, refrigerated meds, and controlled substances).</li><li>Match purchase orders with invoices and packing slips, ensuring accuracy in quantities and NDCs.</li><li>Inspect all packages for damage, expiration dates, and compliance with storage requirements (e.g., refrigeration).</li><li>Accurately enter received items into the pharmacy inventory system (e.g., FrameworkLTC, SureCost).</li><li>Label and shelve medications in appropriate storage areas according to pharmacy layout and regulatory guidelines.</li><li>Assist in rotating stock and removing short-dated or expired inventory as part of quality assurance protocols.</li><li>Handle controlled substances in compliance with DEA, state pharmacy board regulations, and internal protocols.</li><li>Communicate discrepancies or damaged shipments to the Inventory Lead or Purchasing Department immediately.</li><li>Collaborate with the packaging, fulfillment, and order entry teams to ensure continuous workflow support.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving and inventory areas.</li><li>Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory audits as scheduled.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred or required per state regulations.</li><li>Minimum 1 year of pharmacy or inventory receiving experience; LTC or retail pharmacy experience preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, NDCs, and receiving documentation.</li><li>Comfortable using pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></div><div>Warehouse and pharmacy environment with exposure to refrigerated areas and various packaging materials.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Benefits:</strong></div><ul><li>Health insurance.</li><li>Dental insurance.</li><li>Vision insurance.</li><li>Retirement plan.</li><li>Paid time off.</li><li>Employee Assistance Program.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>EEO Statement:</strong><br/>SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce. Reports to: Warehouse Manager</p><p>MISSION:
Provide support to the Warehouse team by coordinating office and shipping activities to ensure efficient warehouse operations.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Including the following, other duties may be assigned.</p><p>• Able to drop daily customer orders.
• Able to manage SAP and to run daily schedule reports.
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed between warehouses.
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sorting and building orders to loads (pool loads) adding Pro-stickers for Carriers and building a daily scheduled based on TMS/SAP.
• Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
• Ensure required material for customer orders are requested with enough time in advance in order to be able to ship on time and complete.
• Reception of drivers, matching Pick-up Numbers/ assigned drivers a door or waiting time based on our current schedule.
• Be able to set Appointments with Carriers (24-48 hours ahead of time.
• Keep a good record keeping of files, old orders, and all kind of inbounds or deliveries Paperwork/Bill of landing.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via SAP, Excel or Word
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• Weighing and counting items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• Completing requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Sweeping, dusting, and mopping (work Area)
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness.
