This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of medications and supplies from vendors. The ideal candidate has a strong focus on accuracy, is organized, and can work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. </div><div>Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>Receive and verify all incoming medication shipments (prescription drugs, OTCs, refrigerated meds, and controlled substances).</li><li>Match purchase orders with invoices and packing slips, ensuring accuracy in quantities and NDCs.</li><li>Inspect all packages for damage, expiration dates, and compliance with storage requirements (e.g., refrigeration).</li><li>Accurately enter received items into the pharmacy inventory system (e.g., FrameworkLTC, SureCost).</li><li>Label and shelve medications in appropriate storage areas according to pharmacy layout and regulatory guidelines.</li><li>Assist in rotating stock and removing short-dated or expired inventory as part of quality assurance protocols.</li><li>Handle controlled substances in compliance with DEA, state pharmacy board regulations, and internal protocols.</li><li>Communicate discrepancies or damaged shipments to the Inventory Lead or Purchasing Department immediately.</li><li>Collaborate with the packaging, fulfillment, and order entry teams to ensure continuous workflow support.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving and inventory areas.</li><li>Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory audits as scheduled.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management. </li></ul><div>Qualifications:</div><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred or required per state regulations.</li><li>Minimum 1 year of pharmacy or inventory receiving experience; LTC or retail pharmacy experience preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, NDCs, and receiving documentation.</li><li>Comfortable using pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. </li></ul><div>Working Conditions:</div><div>Warehouse and pharmacy environment with exposure to refrigerated areas and various packaging materials. </div><div>Benefits:</div><ul><li>Health insurance.</li><li>Dental insurance.</li><li>Vision insurance.</li><li>Retirement plan.</li><li>Paid time off.</li><li>Employee Assistance Program. </li></ul><div>EEO Statement: SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce. Job SummaryThe warehouse lead will be responsible for inbound/outbound shipments, coordinating drop-off schedules and maintaining both receiving/shipping areas. Communications with the other coordinators at the trucking services and compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensures the safe handling and storage of products.</li><li>Promotes safety through reinforcement of safety and PPE programs.</li><li>Works closely with both shipping and receiving departments to ensure the proper execution of all procedures relating to picking, packing, staging, shipping, receiving and inventory management.</li><li>Ensures trucks are loaded/unloaded properly on an accurate and timely basis by overseeing workload scheduling and delivery schedules.</li><li>Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety codes, established company policies and procedures, OSHA (occupational safety and health association) compliance and FDA (food and drug administration) compliance.</li><li>Routine maintenance of forklift and other material handling equipment to ensure proper operation of machinery.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures accurate data entry, lot tracking, and inventory placement using RF Smart.</li><li>Lead, train, and support the warehouse team to meet performance and safety standards.</li><li>Communicates discrepancies, damages, and quality concerns to appropriate departments.</li><li>Oversee and assist team with daily receiving operations, including unloading, staging, and verifying deliveries</li><li>Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Warehousing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and housekeeping as assigned in the Master Sanitation schedule.</li><li>Follow the food safety plan, quality plan and company policies to ensure product meets food safety regulations and quality requirements.</li><li>Experience with SQF (safe quality food) and HACCP (hazard analysis critical control points) will be helpful.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>3 years warehouse experience with in-depth knowledge of all warehouse phases within a food processing facility.</li><li>1 year leadership experience.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft products.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, inventory systems, warehouse management systems, reviewing and ensuring accuracy of shipping and receiving documents.</li><li>Strong understanding of commercial food processing and food packaging equipment will be helpful</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>5 years warehouse experience with in-depth knowledge of all warehouse phases within a food processing facility.</li><li>2 years leadership experience</li></ul>
