To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to: <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Designs and develop protective packaging containers, dunnage and unique racks.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to determine physical requirements, quality, safety and materials needs.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Determine cost and feasibility of producing versus purchasing packaging. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Creates drawings, specifications, samples, and written analyses of packaging for approvals.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Meets with customers and sales representatives to assist with contracts and production support requirements.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Designs and develop efficient and effective packaging solutions for products.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Analyzes engineering designs and specifications to establish physical requirements.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Evaluates quality assurance, logistics, safety and materials alternatives.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Determine container costs, movement costs and feasibility limitations.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Creates engineering drawings, samples and written standards for packaging.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">May lead project teams of significant scope including other engineering colleagues.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">May coordinate vendor and/or associate work assignments on packaging projects.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">May lead cross-functional work teams.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Interfaces on a frequent basis with packaging, operations, internal and external customers.</li></ul>This salary-exempt role is a part of our Corporate Packaging team and reports to the Packaging Manager.Required experience:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Packaging or equivalent experience. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Minimum of six (6) years of experience.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Ability to lead presentations to leadership as required.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Knowledge of logistics, transportation alternatives and customer expectations.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product designs, safety, quality and workflow.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Proficient in Microsoft Office software.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:8pt">Ability to travel up to 25%.</li></ul>Working conditions:·         We’ll provide position-specific details including physical and focused efforts, working environment and conditions, and reasonable accommodation during the interview process.
