As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and organized shipping and receiving process. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including cleaning the shop facility, managing hardware inventory, building crates for shipments, assisting different departments of the shop, and handling tools. <h1>Responsibilities/Functions</h1> •         Construct crates and packaging materials for shipments, ensuring that they meet the required standards for safe transportation. •         Proficient in ERP systems and general computer applications, including Microsoft Office, inventory tracking, shipping documentation, and data entry. •         Clean the shop facility regularly to ensure a safe and organized working environment. •         Assist various departments within the shop with tasks as needed, providing support and contributing to overall operational efficiency. •         Operate a forklift to move and transport materials safely and efficiently. •         Demonstrate proficiency in handling various tools, equipment, and machinery. •         Make deliveries/pick ups •         Keep Inventory Current  <h1>Skills & Experience</h1>•        High school diploma or equivalent qualification. •        Experience in shipping and receiving or a related field is preferred. •        Proficient in ERP systems and general computer applications, including Microsoft Office, inventory tracking, shipping documentation, and data entry. •        Experience operating a forklift is required. Certification preferred. •        Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. •        Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly. •        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •        Proficient in using basic computer applications, such as MS Office. •        Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects – minimum of 50lbs.. •        Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. <h1>Additional Information</h1> Hours ·         7am – 5:30pm, Mon – Thu (excluding federal holidays). <h1>Compensation/Benefits</h1>  ·        Medical benefits available after 60 days ·         3 weeks paid vacation per year, accrued bi-weekly ·         5 paid holidays per year

You will aid in various activities in the Reuse and Sales departments. Your responsibilities will be to ensure efficient, safe, and professional packaging, shipping, and receiving of various items. Shipping Associate Job Duties: ? Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area for pickup. ? Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs ? Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality, and national standards of shipping best-practices. ? Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. ? Document any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory management ? Organize and catalogue large batches of similar items. ? Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize breakage. ? Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers ? Aid in the cleaning and preparation of machines marked for wholesale, large orders, or special projects ? Fill all customer orders with accuracy and timeliness. Pack sold items properly and ship in a timely basis per policy. ? Ensure that incoming and outgoing inventory and shipments are as secure and well-organized as possible.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Locate material and move to the appropriate area using a forklift</li><li>Prepare, review, and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments, ensuring timely dispatch of goods to meet delivery deadlines.</li><li>Manage and organize truck loads, including verifying load accuracy, weight distribution, and proper labeling prior to departure.</li><li>Communicate with carriers, drivers and internal departments to confirm pick up times, delivery schedules, and shipment status.</li><li>Maintain accurate shipping records and update systems with real-time shipment information.</li><li>Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure correct products, quantities, and packaging standards are met.</li><li>Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or documentation errors in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation guidelines, and company policies.</li><li>Provide support during audits by maintaining organized and accessible shipping documentation.</li><li>Track and report key shipping metrics, including on-time deliveries and load accuracy.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Experience & Education<ul><li>2-3 years warehouse experience required</li><li>Forklift experience required</li><li>Transportation Management System Experience required</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required.</li><li>Scan Gun experience required</li><li>High School Diploma/GED required</li><li>ERP system experience preferred.</li></ul>Working Conditions & Physical Demands:<ul><li>Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Will require heavy work (lifting greater than 30 pounds).</li><li>Machinery operation requires the use of safety PPE equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted</li><li>Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility. Ability to work at a computer.</li></ul> Materials and Equipment Used: Will require proper coordination, and motor skills to work with power/hand tools as needed in addition to the use of a computer. Tools: ERP Software, Label Machines, scales and printers.  We offer 100% employer paid medical plan.
