<div><div><div><div>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Follow, without exception, all work instructions and safety policies, including use of all PPE and safety equipment</li><li>Examine machine controls to install plate changeovers and start up machines for production needs when required</li><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery</li><li>Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches</li><li>Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problem</li><li>Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts</li><li>Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments</li><li>Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements</li><li>Lubricate and clean machinery and support equipment to maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards within the plant</li><li>Document and track changeover times and record</li><li>Accomplish all work orders to maintain safety; reduce downtime; decrease scrap; improve quality production; and improve plant efficiency</li><li>Follows all safety rules and procedures including Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards and observes the operations to ensure a safe work environment</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul></div></div></div></div><div><div><div><div>Requirements:<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>3-5 years experience in a maintenance of Can Assembly Presses within a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience</li><li>Maintenance and repair of waxers, scroll shears and Cone Top presses.</li><li>Electrical Experience</li><li>Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc.</li><li>Ability to use precision measuring devices including amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges</li><li>Basic understanding of systems, equipment and schematics</li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. This involves generating ideas and concepts, testing designs, working with production teams during the manufacturing process, and reviewing the efficiency of the final packaging.WHERE YOU WILL WORK At The AMES Companies Ocala, FL Facility. This facility includes the Carlisle Distribution Center and the AMES Center for Digital Commerce. Working with the Packaging Manager, the Packaging Lead will ensure packaging schedules are executed as well as maintaining the chain of integrity of our premium cannabis products from processing to patient.
