Job Title: Lead Shipping and Receiving Lead Department: Parts & Service / Warehouse Reports To: Parts Manager or Operations Manager Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for overseeing all incoming and outgoing shipments within the dealership's parts department. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, timely deliveries, and efficient warehouse/department operations. Coordinate daily logistics activities and maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations</li><li>Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage; verify against purchase orders</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate processing of outgoing orders, including packaging and documentation</li><li>Maintain organized inventory and storage areas within the warehouse/department</li><li>Lead cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits</li><li>Train, schedule, and support shipping/receiving team members</li><li>Resolve discrepancies related to shipments, inventory, or documentation</li><li>Maintain shipping records, logs, and reports</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures</li><li>Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or supply chain training preferred</li><li>3-5 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience, preferably in an automotive or dealership environment</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills</li><li>Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)</li></ul> Skills & Competencies: <ul><li>High level of attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Time management and multitasking</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills</li><li>Knowledge of shipping procedures and inventory control</li><li>High level of organizational skills</li></ul> Work Environment: <ul><li>Warehouse and dealership setting</li><li>Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and equipment</li><li>Standing, walking, and lifting required throughout the shift</li></ul> Compensation & Benefits: <ul><li>Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience)</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Retirement plan options</li><li>Employee discounts</li></ul> Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
