Mays is currently recruiting a Warehouse Coordinator in the Greenwood production plant. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the movement of products, materials, and supplies into and out of a company, utilizing skills and experience in inventory management, shipment preparation, shipment tracking, communication, shipping/receiving coordination, cross referencing incoming and outgoing material against invoices, and processing orders by reviewing, and making needed changes, returns, and cancellations. <h5>Duties and Responsibilities </h5><ul><li>Practice the principles of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement under the GFSI guidelines. </li><li>Generate pick tickets, bill of ladings, labels, and other required documentation for product shipments. </li><li>Pick, process, and prepare all outgoing customer shipments according to specifications, MC Quality Standards, and applicable regulations. </li><li>Review all shipment confirmation information to ensure the correct products are shipped. </li><li>Generate purchase orders, receivers, and other required documentation for the receipt of materials. </li><li>Review all purchase order information to ensure the correct products are received. </li><li>Check incoming materials for proper quantities, damages, defects, heat treated pallets, etc. </li><li>Conduct inspections of transport vehicles at time of receipt or shipment and completes the proper documentation. </li><li>Load and unload all incoming receipts and outgoing shipments using a forklift/pallet jack. </li><li>Stage incoming and outgoing materials accordingly. </li><li>Work with the Production Manager to create the weekly production schedule. </li><li>Check and maintain inventory levels, and transfer inventory (product, packaging, etc.) as needed for production. </li><li>Enter transfers of finished good material to MC Headquarters for storage, as necessary. </li><li>Utilize the ERP system to generate shipping, receiving, and production documentation. </li><li>Perform other duties and assignments as required. </li></ul><h5>Education/Experience </h5><ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent </li><li>3-5 years of experience in a shipping/logistics/warehouse operations role or an equivalent combination of training and experience </li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; maintain a high level of accuracy; and self-directed with a strong ability to multi-task. </li></ul><h5>Knowledge and Skills </h5><ul><li>Knowledge of inventory control methods and procedures, and the ability to apply such knowledge to practical situations. </li><li>Work effectively with all levels of management, customers, suppliers and company personnel; interacting with both internal and external customers in a professional and diplomatic manner. </li><li>Possesses excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. </li><li>Successfully develop outstanding customer and supplier relationships. </li><li>Display excellent decision-making abilities, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem identification/resolution skills </li><li>Demonstrate excellent time management abilities; self-motivated. </li><li>Successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects within conflicting operational demands and tight deadline constraints. </li><li>Set and maintain quality goals and objectives that are consistent with company goals and objectives. </li><li>Organize and control inventoried items, both physically and by computer. </li><li>Effectively prepare reports, and analysis using typical business software tools. </li><li>Ability to work under pressure and multitask. </li></ul>NOTICE TO APPLICANTS : Ravago Americas is an equal employment opportunity employer. This role:We are seeking a reliable, detailoriented Warehouse Coordinator to support receiving, shipping, storage, inventory accuracy, and picking operations across our supply chain. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient material movement-from raw material receipt to final product shipment. Assignments may vary based on warehouse area (Raw Materials, Finished Product, Production Support). Some travel between facilities and occasional overtime are required. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance<ul><li>Ensure all warehouse operations comply with FDA, OSHA, and cGMP standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate, audit-ready records for all incoming materials and outgoing shipments.</li><li>Oversee strict temperature-controlled storage monitoring (e.g., Cold Chain, ambient) and ensure immediate action is taken on temperature excursions.</li><li>Lead or support investigations into deviations, material discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li><li>Participate indirectly in internal, regulatory (FDA), and client audits.</li></ul>2. Inventory Control & Materials Management<ul><li>Manage end-to-end inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting programs and annual physical inventories.</li><li>Coordinate closely with Quality Control (QC) to manage the segregation, labeling, and sampling of quarantined, approved, and rejected materials.</li><li>Oversee the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP inventory modules, and paper based inventory to ensure real-time data integrity.</li><li>Assist R&D with managing the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials or controlled substances according to regulatory guidelines.</li></ul>3. Operations & Logistics<ul><li>Direct all shipping, receiving, and material staging activities to support manufacturing schedules uninterrupted.</li><li>Optimize warehouse layout and slotting strategies to maximize spatial efficiency and improve picking/packing throughput.</li><li>Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure cost-effective, on-time delivery.</li><li>Develop, track, and report on key warehouse performance metrics (KPIs) such as receiving turnaround time, shipping accuracy, and inventory variance.</li></ul>4.
