Must be able to utilize database software, inventory software, order-processing systems, and word-processing software.</li><li>Must be able to regularly lift/move 50-75 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 75-100 pounds.</li></ul>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Read customer orders, vendor packing slips, transfers, and RGAs to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.</li><li>Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.</li><li>Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.</li><li>Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.</li><li>Mark materials with identifying information.</li><li>Pack and verify customer orders.</li><li>Verify amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Relay discrepancies to proper personnel.</li><li>Count or measure items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.</li><li>Use computer to enter records or reference stock.</li><li>Drive vehicle to deliver orders to customers.</li><li>Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.</li><li>Prepare parcels for shipment.</li><li>Maintain inventory records.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of facility and grounds.</li><li>Must have knowledge of Quality Standards and safety measures.</li><li>May be responsible for cycle count.</li><li>Other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Company OverviewFounded in 1948, Werner has grown from a small appliance store in downtown Neenah, WI into an award-winning employer and leading electrical distributor with 12 branch locations in Wisconsin and Upper-Michigan.
