The Paramedic is responsible for assessing, stabilizing, and providing emergency/urgent care for patients with acute illnesses or injuries, bridging the gap between home and hospital by performing advanced life support, administering medications, managing airways, and ensuring safe patient transport or transition to the next level of care, documenting all actions meticulously and maintaining equipment. This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling or palpating, speaking, listening, and high-level cognition.
