Maintains competency in delivery of emergency medical care requiring the use of suction, immobilization equipment, intravenous infusions, medications, cardiac monitors/defibrillator/pacer and performance of other skills within scope of practice. Additionally, under supervision of licensed registered nurses, paramedic/intermediate performs various duties to assist in the care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
