Provide direct service to members of the Lasell University student body: conduct drop-in and intake sessions; provide short term counseling; provide case management services for off-campus referrals when long term therapy and/or specialized treatment is required; coordinate care with collateral off-campus providers and consulting psychiatrist, when deemed necessary; respond to student mental health emergencies; work with Director to coordinate mental health care for students returning to campus after psychiatric hospitalizations; maintain appropriate client records, including case documentation in confidential files, and scheduling and data collection through Titanium. Serve as the University's Health Educator, and in that capacity: coordinate the University's alcohol education program, including the facilitation of AlcoholEdu, and the creation of activities associated with the annual National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week; design and coordinate the Peer Health Education program including the recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of the Peer Health Educators (PHEs); as necessary, supervise undergraduate Lasell student (s) serving as Peer Health Intern(s); collaborate with colleagues across the University community to devise a comprehensive menu of health-related programs, to be presented in campus-wide settings and (on request) in the residential buildings.
