As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives in a supportive community home. Work just two evenings a week while making a real impact! No experience required—we provide comprehensive paid training to help you succeed.What You'll Do:Empowerment & Personal Growth:<ul><li>Help individuals work toward their personal independence goals</li><li>Provide coaching, guidance, and encouragement following individualized care plans</li><li>Serve as a positive role model and trusted companion</li><li>Support skill development in daily living activities</li></ul>Community Engagement & Activities:<ul><li>Plan and participate in engaging evening recreational and therapeutic programs</li><li>Accompany residents on community outings, appointments, and social activities</li><li>Transport individuals safely to various destinations</li><li>Foster community connections and relationships</li></ul>Daily Living Support:<ul><li>Assist with personal care needs as required</li><li>Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping</li><li>Create a warm, clean, and welcoming home environment</li><li>Ensure residents' comfort and dignity in all activities</li></ul>Health, Safety & Documentation:<ul><li>Monitor and support medication administration and health needs</li><li>Implement approved behavior support plans when needed</li><li>Maintain a safe living environment and respond to emergencies appropriately</li><li>Complete required documentation, reports, and data collection</li></ul>What We're Looking For:Required:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with no more than 3 points on driving record</li><li>PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting)</li><li>Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality</li><li>Comfortable working evening hours</li></ul>No Experience Necessary!
