Together, we transform lives.</p><p>️ See how we create comebacks.</p><h2>About This Opportunity</h2><p>Hope Network is seeking a Temporary Physical Therapist to provide coverage for an anticipated 16-week assignment. This position offers a flexible weekday schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact supporting individuals with neurological disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.</p><h2>What You’ll Do</h2><h3>Evaluations & Assessments</h3><ul><li><p>Conduct comprehensive evaluations as requested by prescribing physicians.</p></li><li><p>Assess strength, balance, endurance, coordination, joint range of motion, muscle flexibility, gait, and movement patterns.</p></li><li><p>Establish treatment goals and recommend appropriate interventions.</p></li></ul><h3>Treatment & Intervention</h3><ul><li><p>Deliver individualized physical therapy services.</p></li><li><p>Design, instruct, and monitor home exercise programs for consumers and direct care staff.</p></li><li><p>Develop treatment plans, maintain clinical documentation, and coordinate supportive devices or mobility equipment as needed.</p></li></ul><h3>Staff Training & Education</h3><ul><li><p>Train direct care staff on safe transfers, gait activities, positioning, and implementation of therapy recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Assist with orientation and ongoing education of staff, interns, and volunteers.</p></li></ul><h3>Collaboration & Consultation</h3><ul><li><p>Partner with PTAs, direct care staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.</p></li><li><p>Provide recommendations to support consumer independence and functional outcomes.</p></li></ul><h3>Team Participation</h3><ul><li><p>Participate in team meetings, clinical reviews, quality improvement activities, discharge planning, and family education.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to goal development and coordination of services.</p></li></ul><h3>Equipment Oversight</h3><ul><li><p>Monitor and maintain therapy equipment.</p></li><li><p>Ensure equipment is functioning properly and utilized effectively to support consumer goals.</p></li></ul><h3>Scheduling & Communication</h3><ul><li><p>Schedule consumers according to prescribed treatment frequency.</p></li><li><p>Communicate changes in status, progress, recommendations, and service needs to appropriate team members.</p></li></ul><h2>Work Schedule</h2><ul><li><p>Temporary assignment anticipated to last approximately 16 weeks</p></li><li><p>Flexible weekday schedule</p></li><li><p>Monday–Friday operating hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)</p></li><li><p>No weekends or holidays</p></li><li><p>Hours may vary based on consumer needs and census levels</p></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program</p></li><li><p>Current Michigan Physical Therapist license</p></li><li><p>Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association preferred</p></li><li><p>Experience working with adults with neurological disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, or related populations preferred</p></li></ul><h2>Why Join Hope Network?</h2><ul><li><p>Competitive Pay: $50/hour</p></li><li><p>Mileage Reimbursement</p></li><li><p>Flexible Schedule</p></li><li><p>Collaborative and Supportive Clinical Team</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to Make a Meaningful Impact</p></li></ul><h2>Our Commitment to Inclusion</h2><p>Our diversity is our strength.
